Rachmaninoff Music Academy

Moscow Bells and Katherine
This following videos were shot on the dock at Chaudiere Lodge in the French River District.  International students wishing to experience the Canadian Great Outdoors may arrange for their music lessons to be provided here in this beautiful Ontario wilderness setting.
It would be impossible not to include Moscow Bells in compiling a list of Rachmaninoff's best work. It illustrates the pain he felt in having to leave his motherland following the October Revolution.
Katherine was composed by Stephen Chapman and is one of the few Canadian composers featured in our web-site.  We think you will understand why it was included once you hear it.
